Photography Bracketing

We are now going to teach you about bracketing. Bracketing has to do with ensuring you get the best exposure by taking several ‘bracketed’ shots. You bracket around a shot by taking one regular shot, then one shot which is slightly darkened (-1 stop) and then one shot which is slightly lightened (+1). Often when you’re looking for the correct exposure you will expose the image to the most important highlight, but sometimes you will find you like the slightly over or underexposed look more. It’s just another way to ensure your negative print is as high of quality as possible.
